Jon Cole Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Someone elsewhere posted a photo claiming that a tire was having a chemical reaction with the wheel on a Moebius kit. Can anyone confirm if that info is legit? Should I wrap the rim with BMF just to play it safe?

randx0 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I got the Chariot from lost in space and it did have tire burn from the tracks they replaced the parts quickly . I bought a second Chariot that did not have the same problems .

Austin T Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) I know the guy who's truck that is,John Paul West, he's a friend of mine. He said this happened when he used ambroid glue. He contacted Moebius and they hooked him up with replacements and asked for one of his wheels for testing. As for coating it he said he cleared the rest of his wheels before he glued them and they've been OK. Edited February 2, 2014 by Austin T

Casey Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 It wasn't from this site. That's fine. I'd just like to see and read the experience of the person who built it and what s/he used, if possible.
