What's the best way to go about lowering the Revell 49 Merc? I figure the chassis on the woody and the regular Merc are the same, I only have the woody. I'm looking to lower it or maybe even put a slight rake on it for an upcoming build. So what's the best way to lower it without extensive surgery?

Just a thought (as I'm too lazy to get up and look right now), but I think the suspension is lowered on the '49 Merc - and similar enough you could swap it onto the Woody? I'll check if you don't have the Merc to compare...

The chassis are the same between Revell's 49 Merc lead sled and the Station Wagon--only the suspension parts changed--to give a stock ride height for the Woodie.

They are very similar, but not the same.
