seriously though i am laughing with you not at you, G&J but you gotta admit thats one for the books!

You think I don't know that a '53 Vette is a fiberglass car? Is that what you are inferring?

I just didn't want to use something I actually WANTED TO KEEP having a weld across the body just for a "How-to".... it's that simple.

Busted? Okay, I'm busted... take me away....

Jairus is right. That was a Tom Daniel's Vetteagin body, which is BASED on a Corvette but Tom used thin steel to make that body over a wodden buck he patterned. That's my story and I'll stick with it. :D

It's not about lying, but lying convincingly :o

Do you remember the Monogram metal body series? One was a 1953 Corvette- with a metal body. Now let's just lead poor Jairus back to his workbench and let him continue doing great things for our hobby........

And the cool thing about that kit was all the metal parts on the real car were plastic in the kit. The only thing close to being the right material was the tires! :D
