I'm in the Akron-Canton area and I was supposed to go to a North Coast Club meeting but the weather was cruddy.

Anyone on here belong to that club besides KevinMoparFord? Or live in the area?

ok, with the utmost respect to you sir, could you please SHUT UP!!! joking, its not too bad out, low 20's with a 10+ wind. stopped snowing, but the wind is blowing and drifting the snow. If by any chance I ever get to a warm weather state to live permanently, I would miss the warm fires at night.

I am about 10 miles from Twinsburg.

I really don't mind it so long as i don't have to work in it .

I would like to live in a warmer climate but still a chance of this stuff so i ca annoy people by practicing drifting

and have a snow blower just so they can ask me what it is ROTFLMFFAO!!!!!!!

Went out last night at 10 pm to get wife at work clear oout 45 min later could hear the plow trucks scraping the roads.

I live in Stow, just north of Akron. A guy named Jeff from the North Coast club posted on another forum that the club will set up at the Summit County fairgrounds this Sunday, Feb 9th at a toy show there. The show is from 9:00 am 'til noon. Admission is $6, and most likely a parking fee. Also a Soap Box Derby Rally is scheduled for something there, same day.

I will e-mail Jeff as soon as I get off this forum to confirm and post here asap.

The North Coast Automotive Modelers will be setting up a display. No contest at this event. Just a bunch of us showing off our work. This is along with the John Carlise Toy show. There will be vendors there selling kits and some pieces.

It is at the Summit County fairgrounds on Howe Rd, Just east of Route 8. Doors open at 9am

If anyone is going to the thing at the Summit Fairgrounds, I'd like to meet some of you local guys.

Heads up if anyone has a Discount Drug Mart by them check out their model selection. It was pretty decent in the North Canton store and I don't think any were over $19.99

I want to thank Paul and Mike for making it out to the display. Was great to get to see the faces of the people who talk on here. Hope you both got some deals while here also. I know I did.

Nice meeting both you Jeff and Paul. I only bought some magazines as my wife (who I love dearly) is wondering why I keep walking in the house with another kit.
