Psychographic Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 At a show last year I bought a prebuilt 69 Corvair and I was wondering what kit I have. A few clues to help ID it. The entire front suspension is molded into the chassis and uses a metal axle. The rear suspension is very basic, driveashafts, trailing arms w/ springs molded as one piece, and two shocks. The engine seems to be the same as other kits I've seen, but the top fan shroud is clear. (hopefully a clue) The connecting parts of the glass have "Corvair 69" on one strap and "Y 0 911-3" Molded into them I'm not sure if 0 really is part of the number as it's where the ejection pin mark is, the o is an ejection pin mark on the word Corvair. The kit is molded in white. The headlights and front bumper are one piece. I've already started cutting the body up, so I'm not sure if a pic would help. I've also modified the engine a bit so again, pics might not help. Thanks

Psychographic Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Wow Casey, that was fast. I just PM'ed you as I realized this should have been in the Q&A section. That looks like it and thank you.
