Well, the new parts are released and i'm just about done with all the scale drawings for the website.

So it's time to start thinking about the next project.

To start, i have to round up a bunch of different options so i can figure out what can go with what on which plate, out of what material, and what thickness the plate can be.

I've seen some scratchbuilt gauge panels on some drag racing builds, so i thought maybe i could offer some different versions.

I'm curious if anyone has any specific ones they are interested in having made, maybe you're tired of scratch building one for a certain type of car?

Hey Michael... Awesome Idea. I have a bunch of pics of gages and parts that I have taken at the drags here from many of the companies displaying their parts in the vendor areas. Ever though of the possibility of making different delay boxes and timers...stuff like that. May be possible to make and have some fold lines to create the boxes. I will have to load up some pics to show you what I am talking about. Hopefully you will be able to do these in 1/16th scale too ;):D

Detailed gauges are best done by a photo etched panel, a clear resin cast gauge with a led installed, a clear decaled gauge face, a photo etched needle and a clear gauge face and a photo etched ring. assembling by painting the outside of the gauge black or silver the face of the gauge the color you want the gauge to light up. install the decal, then the needle, mount it in panel, install the gauge face & ring,. How about Fax LCD gauge faces we need some double cut screw type terminal blocks so we have a clean way to attach wires. How about doing updated computer and ignition packs , either just the detailed face, double etched or a foldable box. we could also use holders for N02 bottles and firebottles.

Thanks all, any help is greatly appreciated. The data collection phase of a new project is a lengthy one.. I pull together all of the ideas i can and then see what's feasible, the more raw data i can find one different possibilities, the better.
