Finally!!

Got this today from Bob Reck at Bob's Promotional Cars

I am announcing today that the 2014 Corvette Coupe (Laguna Blue with separate pace car stickers) and the 2015 Corvette Convertible (New Yellow) promos have now been finalized. They will be available in July and August 2014 respectively. I am anticipating the announcement of the 1957 Corvette very soon, so keep checking over the next several months for that announcement.

I assume this means at least some snap kits also. Now we just need the wide body Z06 and the C7.R race car.

Wasn't the 1957 Corvette Promo announced once before? Anyone have any more info on any of these?

The 05-07 were Revell, the 08-11 were manufactured by DoAllSer Company for Ivy Promotions and the 12 & 13 were AMT. Considering the long delay, it may be someone entirely new. I was hoping an industry insider might chime in with the real scoop. Anyone?

I received an email from my promo dealer to inform me that two new Corvette promos will be out this coming fall, a 2014 Indy Pace Car coupe and a 2015 convertible. I'm assuming that these will be using molds from Round 2 since it was their molds that were used for the C6 promos. I would assume that will mean that at some point in time we'll see both molds producing snap style C7 kits.

Let's hope this lights a fire under Revell who I hope would choose to do a kit of the C7 Z06 that was shown this year and will go on sale next year.

This has me pretty excited because I really like the looks of the new vettes a lot. Which sort of says a lot since I normally am stuck in the 70's lol

Did it take this long to get the 1st C6 from Revell? I don't remember the release date but I took one to the 2007 GSL.
