Field_Artillery63 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Hey guys, just got done taking all of my 65 chevy step side parts off the trees and cleaning them up and I came across this part, #62. But it's not anywhere on the instructions. I first thought it was something to hold a engine but it just popped in my head it could be a tow package/hitch. Any ideas???
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Why isn't it on the instructions booklet?
Belugawrx Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Sometimes model companies reissue kits and leave some of the old parts on the trees, but don't include them in the instructions. That kit may have been a 2'n1 at one time. I recently built a 64 gto and in the kit was a front end from a "71 gto !! Go figure
horsepower Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 It's leftover from when that truck came with the"Hemi Hydro" kit as a dual package.
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Thanks guys!!! I thought I was just over looking it. Even got the wife to look at the instructions. This kit is a 2 n 1. Different rims and lower/reg rear suspension. I'm going to keep it old school though. So 2n 1 kits are good for obtAining extra pieces to use for future builds I see.
Custom Mike Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 You nailed it Joshua, the 2 in 1 and 3 in 1 kits are a great way to build a nice stock of extra parts that will come in handy later!
