1972coronet Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 It seems that either the LHS's don't 'care' to carry panel scribers , or that they quickly sell-out of them ; either way , it's frustrating . So , whilst trolling 'the web' , I found the Trumpeter Panel Scriber via Model Roundup ; see link below : http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/tsm-9912.htm Any-one use this particular scribe ; and if so , is it a good tool ? Please share your cheers and / or jeers with us here . Thanks

Go to your dentist and ask if he can give you all his used tools. They have to sterilize them after each use and prior to discarding them. I got more then enough to last me a lifetime.

It's a very good tool as it takes out a thin slice of plastic with each pass, as opposed to the back edge of an Exacto blade shoving the plastic aside. I highly recommend it!

Chris - That's a great idea ! Now I know where all of those plaque-picks go ... hopefully my dentist isn't a plastic fanatic .
