Beautiful model! Really well done. NOT a Rally Sport.

This is an SS/RS (SS badging takes priority). RS is the hideaway headlights and some other minor trim.

So the RS without badges except the front grille emblem .. and a 302 small b IS ..

actually a Z28

Right, the RS option (RPO Z-22) is hideaway headlights and special grill, single color tail lights and some other specific trim.

The Z28 option (RPO Z-28) is the 302 ci/290 hp V-8, 4-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt rear. In 1967 there were no exterior badges identifying a Z-28. The "Skunk Stripes" were standard on the 67 Z-28 but were also available across the line, if not from the factory, then at least a very popular dealer add-on.

So this guy that owned it (figuratively), was happy w no stripes ,..no badges, no engine logos!

Cause those are just Heat Magnets!!

So it is just a 302 SS (no SS) Z28 (no Z28) RS (not?)
