Highway CA 111 is a sketchy stretch of highway .

Even worse : North Palm springs , Cathedrel City (a real gem of a city !) , etc. Just an absolute wind tunnel !!

Then there's Fontana ; I hate Santa Ana Winds !!!

That seems to be true Ray, there are many natural hazards like snow, sand storms, tornados, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis, extreme heat or cold, ice storms, sleet, hail, floods, mud slides, wildfires, draught, and probably several more that I've missed.

I lived in Chicago and the winters get old. I lived in Florida and I did not like it. I have been here the longest and the summer heat and humidity is brutal. I took a vacation to Arizona and I liked it spent a week there. I liked phoenix area and I stayed at Williams and went to the grand canyon. I don't think I would like the dust storms at all. So it is like something everywhere you go..
