Patrick2005 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I'm trying to build a 1978 Dodge "Midnite Express" truck and I'm putting a 440 in it since they were known to have pretty much any motor you wanted including the 440. I can't find any pics of what the engine color would have been for Mopar big blocks in the trucks during that time. Does anyone have any pics or at least just and insight to help me?

Chrysler engine blue would be correct.
Nick Winter Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 After the End of the Magnum motors and Hemi's everything went corporate blue.
1972coronet Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Colloquially known as "1972 Blue" . Its shade differs from the 1971 & earlier "blue" (which is more grey-ish) , and is definitely a different shade than Chrysler Engine Turquoise .
