J.C. Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Are you supposed to clear your body before you apply BMF or after you apply BMF? Or is it just your preference?
Tom Geiger Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 You can start a war with that question! I always clear (if I clear at all) before applying the BMF. Some guys will say that they need to seal it in, but I've never had BMF come off with age. In my opinion, BMF has it's own shine, and clearing over it makes it shine at the same level as the paint around it.
Ramfins59 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I always clear before I apply BMF so that there is less of a chance of cutting through to the paint and having the trimmed foil peel up the paint with it.
jrherald420 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Clear and polish smooth before BMF. I have done i both ways and it works just fine either way. Mainly up to you.
J.C. Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Great thanks guys. That's how I always do it but I thought I read somewhere to BMF then clear so I thought I would ask Thanks!
