JTalmage Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Anyone make any of that stuff? I've got a '77 Mustang II AMT model that I've had for a few years that I'd like to make a replica of my car, and all i've seen is turbo 2.3 stuff.. Thanks
slusher Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 You can get a normal 2,3 out of any Pinto kit....
JTalmage Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 Cant honestly say I've seen a stock pinto kit... I've seen the Johan drag cars...
Deano Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 You can get a normal 2,3 out of any Pinto kit.... And we know those are a dime a dozen.
MsDano85gt Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 think theres normal 2.3 motors in the courior truck kits.... n/a not turbo
horsepower Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 The 2.3 motors in the Courier trucks use the Mazda bellhousing & transmissions, their starter is on the wrong side for the ones in the Mustang II. Maybe we'll get lucky & someone will take pity on us & cast one. I'd like one or two for a track roadster, using the side draft webers for induction.
Jeremy Jon Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Jesse, I may have a spare one from a carb'd turbo 2.3 kit, which is much closer than the later model T-bird and SVO efi turbo 2.3s, LMK Anyone make any of that stuff? I've got a '77 Mustang II AMT model that I've had for a few years that I'd like to make a replica of my car, and all i've seen is turbo 2.3 stuff.. Thanks
