impcon Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Just wondering if there has been a 69 Camaro kit out the doesn't have the usual hideaway headlights? Or is there a resin body available from any casters that is a more basemodel than the usual? It seems that every model that I see of a '69 has the hidden headlights and I'd like to build one without them.
Danno Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 There's another thread with this very discussion, Gary. There are several Revell '69 Camaro kits with the standard grille treatment (exposed headlamps).
AzTom Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Gary, They didn't delete your first post on this, it was moved to here. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88865 Edited May 1, 2014 by AzTom
Brett Barrow Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 IIRC, the only Revell kits that don't have the standard grille are the convertible and the Baldwin-Motion. Not all the Z/28's show the standard grill on the box, but it's in there.
impcon Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Thanks guys. I do appreciaate the information for sure. And I apologize for the double post. I thought that I had asked that question and then when I came back to seeif there were any responses . I found nothing, so I figured that I;d had an old time's moment and forgot to ask the question. *sighss* Golden years, huh? Bah! Hiumbug!
