Takin a break from my cabover project. This trailer is gonna be goin with the stretched out prostar project thats still in the box waitin. This is startin a bit tough as some have said. Dont like the dayton wheels, that and they wouldnt match the prostar, gonna fab the moebious wheels to work, which ended up bein a lower profile tire, which i like. Gonna add p&p resin fenders and a custom rear bumper. Im gonna try to alter the plumbing to resemble a milk tanker, goin good so far, no big issues, yet.

I just got done with a tanker, what a nightmare fit-wise. keep an eye on the 'outriggers' on the frame that go up the sides of the tanker body, they need some tweaking to make sure they actually meet the tanker body when it sits on the frame, atleast mine did.

Thats what im runnin into, the cross members were ridiculous, my luck with amt kits has been just about like that. My frame rails are as crooked as a politician, on the tree and glued, those rubber bands came handy to hold the rails together. Thanks for the heads up on the out riggers, that wouldve drove me up the wall!!

lol, these kits are ridiculous, at 14 years old when I did my first one, I was like, oh man that kicks butt, but at 44, I was like, wtf?? hehe...

I got frustrated and had to put it away. Lost all motivation when i seen how crooked the ridiculously chrome plated frame rails were. I know itll straighten out when the body and chassis are together, but its just the point, thought it would be a quick simple, paint, glue and done. Boy was i wrong! Im not giving up, long weekend comin, plan on lots of modeling
