After completing a build of my buddys 66 Biscayne using a MCW resin body I have been thinking of building a replica of my very first car I bought off my dad for 50 bucks. It was a 62 Ford and I was 16. I noticed when I was searching the MCW web site that they have a resin 62 Ford body and interior kit but it is a 2 door. My car was a 4 door. So....... my question is what would be the best way and best tools to try to convert the body to a 4 door on a resin body. Not worrierd about the interior and I know I can use the 60 Ford kit or maybe the 61 for the chassis. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Ray well to answer your question the best way I find to scribe door lines is to measure your door lines and then mask the lines off.

Then take a number 11 hobby knife blade or cheap testors hobby knife and scribe the door line gently till you get a good groove.

That is what I do and it works great. Hope this helps.
