How can I save a set of decals? Crack and fall apart in water.

Like the title says guys. What can I use to cover the decals to hold them together and slid on the car. I got an old set of Arlen

Vanke Duster decals. Spent a good amount. I set the black side panels in the water and seen the cracks appearing. Then they just

fell apart. I seen somewhere to use clear on them. But what kind? Thanks much.

Spray some clear on them first.

Have someone with an ALPS printer scan them, touch up the damage and print fresh set for ya.

Microscale Liquid Decal Film, available at most better hobby shops and online. Badger also sells their own version, but it's harder to find. Apply one or two coats to the sheet with a wide brush.
