scalenut Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 they are all capable with the smallest needle/tip set , thin paint and low pressure,
Mike 1017 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 I have the smallest tip for my H. Still the spray pattern is too wide
Chief Joseph Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Paasche Talon Vision is the newest gun in their line. It has a built-in MAC valve and a 0.2mm nozzle, so it's intended for the finest detail work. It also costs more than twice a "regular" Talon. The regular Talon will paint a pencil-thin line with the right paint and it's a good choice if you want to keep your airbrush family all-Paasche.
bill w Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 There is the Paashe AB, you can touch the part you are painting with the airbrush and paint a hairline. I don't know if they still make that model, the last price that I saw was $325.00 back in the 80's. It is great for detail work. Bill
935k3 Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Paasche has discontinued the AB Turbo and it was intended to be used with inks not paint. The Talon with the smallest tip(.25 mm) will paint very fine lines. You can get the set with all three tips and needles in a very nice wooden case. The Talon is a far better airbrush than the H. The preset handles allows you to use the airbrush like a single action a/b for consistent lines. http://www.amazon.com/Paasche-Airbrush-Talon-Gravity-Deluxe/dp/B00JUPUIR6/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1401077643&sr=8-13&keywords=paasche+talon+set Also for nothing but thin lines you could think about the Badger Krome, sold at AC Moore which has 40% off every week coupons and 50% off on occasion. Mike 1017 Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Thank you for you input. It looks like the Talon TG set is the way to go. Mike
English Jules Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 i have a Harder and Steenback, build quality is amazing and i can do the tiniest fine lines that i need for military modles
DrGlueblob Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 Paasche is a lot easier to get in the U.S. than Harder and Steenbeck.
935k3 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Paasche is a lot easier to get in the U.S. than Harder and Steenbeck. And the price is much less.
