haro85 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Hello everybody, it's been a few years since I last built a model. Now that I'm older I wanna get back into it, I think I can get a little more detailed. My question is, I wanna run stock fuel lines on a big block nova that I'm building, I found some .025 inch thick music wire at Hobby Lobby. It looks like it will be easily bent but is it the right scale for the 1:25 scale model? My next question is what does everybody use for heater hoses? Thanks for the help, I hope to be on the forum a lot more.
crazyjim Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I use 26 gauge wire for fuel lines and wire out of old computers for heater hoses. Sorry, I don't have the size of them right now.
Cato Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 That .025 wire equals a 5/8" OD in 1:1. That's acceptable for your use.
haro85 Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Thank you all for the help and quick answers. I'm sure I'll have some more.
