Superpeterbilt
That is just flat out awesome. I love it man. On the topic of painting before or after assembly, Ive cone to prefer putting as much of it together as I can and then paint. As Jarda said, when I need to mask a gluing area, I just apply a strip of tape there so theres no scraping afterwards. Its a real time saver. Excellent job! Petetrucker07
Heres a freight shaker or a pete with a drom. Maybe this will inspire you to do another project. Edited September 9, 2014 by Petetrucker07
kilrathy10
Thanks, Clayton.....Can't say I'd really care to tackle that Freightliner, but you KNOW I like that Pete.....That DOES get me inspired.....I like that.....I've always wanted to do a United truck, anyway.....That looks as good as any.....That looks cool....A really serious truck..... Superpeterbilt
That Frieghtliner in the pic looks to be the model that had the motor mounted laid down on its side under the frame. I would build one but without that uggo sleeper on top of the cab. It reminds me of that Dodge van from Napolean Dynomite.
