youpey Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 amt has a 66 mustang hardtop, but the details are quite lacking pretty much everywhere. does anyone know if there is a more detailed kit that i could throw the body onto this is the kit i am referring to http://www.round2models.com/images/models/amt704/amt704-02.jpg
Brett Barrow Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The AMT 66 is the old annual kit. You could probably make their modern-tooling 67 Shelby chassis work with some modification. Trumpeter Falcon could be an option, too. All the Revell/Monogram early Mustangs are 1/24th.
youpey Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 i have the trumpeter falcon, i will see about that. thank you
Guest Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 The Monogram Mustang chassis may actually work better. The '67 Mustang chassis is pretty narrow because the body curves in at the bottom. I used a Monogram 1/24 Mustang chassis under a '61 Falcon and it was practically a drop in.
