that a nice posts because i try to paint my truck now like this
but i need some help
i try my hand now on some COE truck i have
how i put the cab togeder to be ready to paint without the inside first?
or it's better to built all the cab then mask off all the windows of the truck?
and KJ can you show me in pic or try to explain again how exactly you did the stipe?

I just painted another one yesterday, I should have taken photos of the process. For this one I sprayed the whole cab dark blue:

Then I taped off everything that I wanted to stay dark blue, then did a coat of clear to seal in the tape. Once that was dry I sprayed the whole thing very light blue. I then taped off the areas that were to be light blue stripes (fat one in the center and the thin ones right next to the dark blue stripes). I again sprayed a coat of clear, then I sprayed the medium shade of blue. Let it all dry and unmasked it and this was the end result:

I used the same method for this hood. I used pink as the base color, masked it off, sprayed the whole thing silver, masked off the thin stripes, then sprayed the whole thing red:
