Does anyone have any tricks on inserting the ignition wire into the black tubing? 2 hours and im pretty frustrated rubbed all the paint off distributer

Run the tubing in warm/hot water.. it'll expand a bit to do your thing with the wires. It'll contract again when it cools down..

Use a small test piece first!!

Shove the end of a tapered toothpick into the black tubing and twist to create enough friction to heat it up and expanding the end, then insert the yellow wire. This trick works for other types of wire in different colors. Hope it helps.

Thanx for asking that question. I'm not there yet on my build, but I'm sure that's going to come in handy.

hey brother just a heads up

Instructions call for plug boots to be 1/4" long But in scale that would be 4" long just seemed a little big for me so I decieded t9 make them 5mm but 4mm would probly be better

When I woke up this morning, it hit me that I saw a fix for making plug boots all the same height.

Then, after coffee, I realized I was the one who came up with the fix while working on the Quarter Master engines.

Insert any length boot, take a thin piece of plastic, drill a hole the diameter of the plug boot, then whip out your handy dandy X-Actomatic and hack and slash the little devils into submission.
