Spintires ... drive through the mud!

Spintires is a PC driving game where you can drive trucks through the best modeled mud on the PC.

Per their website ...

Spintires™ is an off-road driving experience designed to challenge the player's driving skill and endurance. Take responsibility of operating large all-terrain vehicles and venture across the rugged landscapes with only a map and compass to guide you. Explore the levels and unlock portions of the map whilst discovering new trucks, fuelling stations, garages and lumber mills.

There is a Tech Demo on their site you can download for free and try it out over a pretty wide landscape. All you truckers should give this a spin.

Spintires is pretty interesting, also the mods you can get for it are great too. I like BeamNG better since it's more soft body physics than anything else, but the two don't really share much in common so comparing them is almost pointless. Still both are cool games.

I tried BeamNG awhile ago and it looked interesting, especially the body physics and damage from crashes.

Spintires is all about the mud ... I don't believe anything else does mud better. I'm sure many here will have a blast just with the free demo. It has a small jeep-like vehicle and a large 8-wheeled tractor. The mud gets deep and you can use trees to winch yourself out (though not in the demo).
