gibsonr9 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Hi All, Im building a Tamiya 1/12 Maclaren mp4/6 that I want to detail up. How do I work out what diameter the HT leads would be please? thanks.
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 (edited) HT (high tension) leads (or "secondary ignition" or "spark plug" wires in US terminology) on most high-performance cars are about 10 or 11mm in diameter, more or less. For 1/12 scale, just divide by 12. 10mm divided by 12 =.833mm (or .033"). Edited August 20, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
