The Creative Explorer Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 This is the Dick Landy's Charger, but I gave my own twist to it.
1 bad55 stan Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Great engine detail!Nice overall build.I also like the stripes...
Maxicoop Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Nice detailed Hemi !!!!! and I like the paint !!!!! and stripes are awesome !!!!!!!!!!
CJ1971 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Nice all round 68... Not sure if I agree on the side ( cut-off ) bumblebee stripes but other than that, it's a cool 68 ?
o-man Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Great looking Mopar. Interesting color/stripe choices
Dominik Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Interesting color. Is it another one on top? The only thing thats not my taste are the different stripes. The black ones in my view are o.k. But whats yout intention for the ones on the side panels? Don't you think, the doorhandles are not in place they should be? i think, they are to low on the doors
OldTimer50707 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Great looking Charger. Did you have any issues building it?
DeeCee Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Sweet mopar mate, like the others, not sure about the 2 different color stripes, but over all a top notch build.
The Creative Explorer Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 Thanks all for the kind words @Cliff, Richard & Dale: the Charger has a 2-tone paintjob Mini silk green on top and Bentley Racing Green on the lower part. The racing stripes are in fact the Bentley color and the Bumblebee stripes are in fact the Mini color. I agree it looks a bit off with the shadows and sharp panel lines, but in real life, it is all smoother and makes sense. Also, there are ghosted skulls in the 2 racing stripes, but one needs to have a very detailled eye to see them @Lee; not really, some minor issues with fitting, but nothing to be worried about. Even though it is an older kit, the exact same tooling is used for the 'special edition' 68 charger that Revell released not that long ago.
