Started on the rear wheel wells tonight. Ended up going with a mini-tub style, as recreating the factory curve was too complicated to try, and this way I can stuff bigger tires under there. Didn't have any styrene thin enough to flex, so I figured I'd use aluminum like the real deal.....

Not too much progress. Got the rear squared away so the frame extends where it needs to. Spent the past few nights geting the fenders to mate with the cahssis and started fixing the lump of a firewall that came in the kit...

Jr73, the bee chassis pics look great you got the rear wells down pat. I personaly think the engine compartment looks good too.If your going for the daily driver look, I think the stock seats with shoulder harness would look ok but thats my own opinion, either way it's looking good,GREAT JOB! Sprayed Dupli-color white on the Bee..and then hit it with there clear. Who would have thought that would turn it beige  ... At least it's close enough to a factory color that I might live with it. I don't want to send it to the purple pond and lose all the body work I did in the engine bay....

Looking good in white.

I'm doing the 70' Super bee pro street version. worked on the interior last night. Hope to spray the body today.

Going with dark mica blue on the body. my interior is a dark battleship blue/gray color, I like using military colors on interiors for something different.

Hope to see yours finished soon. Keep up the good work, its looking great.

Well, Murphy has struck. Thought I had it going good with the decals showing up this weekend. Well, I managed to mess those up, lose the rear bumper, and since I didn't paint the hood with the rest of the body, it doens't match. Off to Modelhaus for a new bumper. This 'Bee is gonna be the death of me...
