JTalmage Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I'm in need of an LS engine for a project I have been cooking up. Just need an engine block/heads/oilpan/valvecovers. Everything is will be sourced. Im not a Chevy guy typically and dont pay attention to whats out there. I thought maybe a new Camaro? Whats the best choice, Revell or AMT?
Teds57 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 try Manny at VCG Resins he does a couple of complete LS motors in resin http://vcgresin.atspace.com/main.html
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I've been getting LS engines out of C5 Corvette kits. They seem to be pretty cheap most of the time on ebay. Of course, if you need a gearbox you're out of luck as the C5 has a transaxle in the rear.
