ferrarijoe Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I use regular $ 15 soldering iron from radio shack. It is just like soldering wires. You should get a piece of glass to work on so the solder won't stick. You can also use epoxy or super glue. But i would only use super glue on small non load bearing parts. Mike_G Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 I would start by annealing the brass to make it soft and easily workable, this is done by heating the brass with a torch until it is cherry-red, then immediately quenching it in water.
