I hope you all enjoyed the photos. Comments are always welcome towards the build.

Why post a couple of pix when 152 will do???? :o

If you have the kind of patience to post 152 photos, I think I could have the courtesy to look at them. I like pictures, keep em coming!

The project, I understand, I'm not sure I see the point of the BMF on the panels....Just to represent bare metal on a car being "rebuilt" as a real one?

OR to smooth the body itself?

Perhaps to represent cheap trailer home aluminizing paint? A real customizing technique in Hazzard County.

You ask a few good questions.

This might be kind of hard even for me to explain LOL

The bare Metal Foil is cake pan. I only paid a dollar for it. I wanted to use something that I could shape easy, indent easy and also form a panel on the project so I could later on cut away the plastic panel and install the tin version that I could later on dent and buckle to give the panel the ellostion (SP?) of a jump had been done with that car. The stuff at the time was in earlier build stage an I was testing out different ways with different stuff. The tins was a way to damage the panel in an easier way by making the tins like they would on a real car even repo panels. Then replacing the plastic one with the tin version and then primering & painting the whole model and then damaging it and weathering the whole car.

As for the body, it's too smooth. I notice that during the first tin test making. It's missing some of it's body lines to be honest, but not from who ever built it before but rather from the company them self's. I'll add some body lines probably and then remake some new tins for on the project.

You know, you just gave me an idea for a diorama! LOL

Plus I'm surprised, you spelled Hazzard County correct. You know how many people spells it incorrect "Hazard".

Like Waylon said "They do stuff different here".

I been working for the last 6 months on some correct rims for on this project. I don't want to go resin or plastic on it. I want to go more correct on the rims. Have about 5 projects on the go right now. I will post some photos maybe over the weekend.

I'm not sure what happen to them either. I went back through an I see what you all are talking about with a group of numbers.. that's strange. I only seen one photo that showed up. If you like, I can repost a few of the photos. I also have some new ones to get uploaded as well.

Jim, if you moved the pictures around on whatever photo-hosting site you use, it'll screw up the links to the pictures here. I learned that with Fotki years ago, a real tough way to learn, but I haven't done it since.

You'll have to go back and edit every post to re-insert the pictures. It's time consuming, but the only way to do it unless you start the WIP from scratch.
