Dr. Cranky Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Just in time for valentines . . . this my latest build so far in 2008 . . . I would like to do a whole series of these "roadside attractions." Of course, this one is not based on a real attraction, though it is extremely possible . . . Enjoy, lots more pics in my Fotki.
Raul_Perez Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Very well done, Virgil!! I really enjoy seeing unique pieces, and this one certainly is unique!! Keep up the great work and the posts!
dub Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Great, imaginative work as usual, Virgil! I do have one question though. Does the Cafe serve scrapple? You ought to work that van of yours into one of the roadside attractions. Don't worry, I won't mention the horse leaving the K & J Kruize in it...... Oops!
Dr. Cranky Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Ha! I loved that . . . I think there will be a whole series of these "Roadside Attractions." Thanks for the kind words and the support. Stay tuned in . . .
RatRod Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Not my cup-o-tea, but that is some amazing work Virgil!!! You have some fantastic talents showing throughout!!!!
lizardlust Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 EXCELLENT - that thing has U.S. 41 written all over it!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Thanks for the compliments, fellas . . . this one was fun, but I went with my imagination rather that work from a picture . . . I am sure there are all sorts of great eye candy all over the less-traveled highways (the blue highways) in the country . . .
Jairus Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I never would have thought of that... Cool look though!
Dr. Cranky Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 No, you would have thought of this: This is a place called CARHENGE. Unbelievable!!!
James Flowers Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I like that alot. I have seen a real VW on a pole as a sign here in Ohio at a junkyard. I have not been that way for along time so don't know if it is still there. Please do more of them. It was Circleville, Ohio on R.T. 23.
