gfishee
I hope this is in the proper forum. After seeing the Doc's engine stand challenge , I decided to give it a shot. Balsa wood, nails, glue and paint. Super simple yet functional. I will update the post when finished. Any comments are welcome.

gfishee
Excellent question and one I don't have a great answer for lol. It was actually for ease of assembly as this was my first shot at any scratch building. I am going to pick up some new material and build more.
