3men2s
Your putting a Chevy motor in it ! I hope not. I knew I was goin to hit a nerve. It's a plastic engine I have some big block ford engine but I am saving them for other projects (Bob Gliddens'exp ford pro stock and a Fairlane pro stock) I keeping the chevy block but the top part its all custom built. Twin turbos and I will place the distributor in the front to resemble the fords engine. I know. i KNOW BUT i HAVE A LIMITED BUDGET FOR THIS HOBBIE, and I like to use what I have the best I can. I could buy one of those Gibson engines which will look great but since I am experimenting with this turbo set up for the first time I RATHER SACRIFICE THIS CHEVY ENGINE I am not a chevy hater even dow I am a ford fan

Build it the way that makes YOU happy with it. I like the chassis your doing for it so far, It looks really cool. I ordered this same body from Don and his castings are flawless!! Some of the nicest resin pieces I've ever bought. If anyone is hesitating about buying resin cast pieces from reliable....You have nothing at all to worry about. The pieces I got may have taken a little while to deliver but I was told that when I ordered them and after seeing the quality of them It was worth the wait!!! Don does them the right way If they aren't right he won't send them. Chris
3men2s
I agree, this is my second mustang body, it is a beautifull thing. The new camaro, looks hot and will be my next buy. I also he also does a good job doing parts, his scoops are asome for pro stock projects., thanks for your reply..... you need to do a custom rollcage for this slick body. 3men2s
CONTINUING MY LOW BUDGET PROJECT, I AM TRYING TO MAKE A PAIR OF TURBOS OUT OF SOLDER WIRE, STILL NEED TO WORK ON THEM TO MAKE THEM LOOK RIGHT. THE BODY IS CLEAN WILL BE PAINTING IT SOON SO IT CAN DRY WHILE I BUILD THIS THING. WILL USE THE FUNNYCAR TANK AS THE INTERCOOLER. AS SOON AS I GET THE TURBOS RIGHT, I WILL START TO CONECT ALL THE TUBINGS FOR THE INTAKE.
3men2s
I was able to do a little this past weekend. the motor needs more work, I need to make it look smoother, the body is ready for paint and the hood will be done when the engine is final, it is going to be a project by itself just to do the hood. I don't want to just make a high coul induction I problably do something out of a japaness animation, will see.

v8horsepowercj
This thing looks like a beast!!! It should deff. not be suffering in the HP dept. I really like the met.
