I remember the first time I rode a bike without training wheels! How could anyone forget that? It was a red Schwinn pixie at a friend's house.
I remember my first model, it was an amt 69 torino stock car. My dad helped a lot, I was only 6 years old. I think he did almost all of the gluing and spray painted the body because it turned out great! I remember helping with the decals and choosing #23 for the roof and doors and "Ron's Racing Recaps" for the rear fenders.
Hey! That's my car! ... Well actually, mine is a US spec LHD Civic SI, but sorta close. I have to find a copy of this model. BTW the oil pan is cast aluminum (not that it matters since you are blinging it out!)

The only reason you would get shouted down is that your comments are not appropriate for this particular thread. The kit's flaws have been pointed out elsewhere and it would be more appropriate to discuss them elsewhere (e.g. "New Kit Reviews".) This thread is for showing what can be done with the kit for those that choose to purchase it. I for one want to watch the buildup here and see some of the issues dealt with.
