  1. It shouldn't hurt your glue but it will take glazing or spot type putties off with the paint.
  2. RC2 has been horrible about putting anything on the outside of the box to let you know what is actually inside the box. Do you know what versions have the OHC six inside? Does the JL version with the yellow & black car on the box have it? (box doesn't mention anything) Does the blue & green "muscle cars" box with the blue car have it? (again, the box doesn't say a word about it.) I'm pretty sure the '69 Trans Am labeled version doesn't have it. Thanks for any help.
  3. That should be blogspot.com. Here is the direct link: http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-t...oto-studio.html . Thanks! great article.
  4. 427 cammer parts and 9" rear end were put in the mail on Wednesday. Of course we had so much snow the mail lady didn't come until Thursday. I bet you get them on Saturday.
  5. It has a new label. Now called "Pledge with Future Shine" or something. I just saw it at Walmart the other day.
  6. That's a nice feature. Mine is a few years old. I'm glad they made that change.
  7. Don't forget to turn it off! No auto shutoff on that one. (I go through lots of batteries! )
  8. http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes1260.htm? This might work as well and I think it is enamel if you prefer: http://www.cornerhardware.com/rustoleum_pa...6933_7656/18980
  9. Here's something else I didn't have when I started that I couldn't live without today: Fine tipped paint pen! For small details like gauges, can't be beat. I used this on the bezels for this dashboard:
  10. Yeah, I have the flexible shaft for mine but it is still a pain in the arse. The Stylus looks pretty slick!
  11. What tools do you have on or near your bench that you didn't have when you started modeling but now you just can't live without? I'll start: Flexi-file. I honestly don't know what I would do without this, I use them all the time. Are they still available? I only have two of the frames and I'm down to one of each of the grits. Here's another: Castrol Super Clean (or preferably generic equivalent.) Remember when paint was forever? Or brake fluid seemed to do nasty things to the plastic and was such a mess to get rid of. How about you?
  12. Very nice! The traction bars and wheels really set it off.
  13. The air cleaners on that 409 are OUTSTANDING. Gonna hafta get me a coffee filter!
  14. Engine looks great as does the rest of the rod! Nice rescue.
  15. That looks very nice (and very real.) Nice job!
  16. Any update on these? A couple of great subjects!

What a great subject! Looks like you captured the 1:1 very well. Would love to see more detailed photos!
  18. Really nice. I have one of those I need to build...
  19. That is sweet! Stores around here don't have the sedan yet.
  20. That looks great! I love the color. Those rims are tough too.
