  1. Thanks for the kind words all. It was a fun build and I had a lot of help from you all.

    '72 Grand Prix

That is nice. I agree it could be in the "real or model" poll. Very nice job.
  3. I'm calling this one finished. This is the first model I have completed in I don't know how long. At least 12 years. It didn't turn out exactly like I envisioned but I'm okay with it. It was a fun build and I'm a better model builder now than when I started 7 weeks ago, thanks to the help of many here on the forum. 1934 Ford pickup cab chopped 4", bed shortened 20", wheelbase shortened 6". Modern aftermarket deuce chassis with IFS. Mustang Cobra modular DOHC engine with scratchbuilt intake. Here is the WIP thread. And now some pics:
  4. Is it too late to enter?

    427 Cobra

    It's already purty!
  6. Very nice Hot Rod. I like your style.
  7. I like the model A grille shell and the dual rear wheels. Nice weathering job too!
  8. Here is a picture of a 1935 with the sheet metal in place (from www.35pickup.com)
  9. James, what happened to the pictures? Any chance you could repost them?
  10. Cool! Are you going to transplant the driveline, suspension, & interior, or just the scallops?
  11. Here you go Lyle, I'll save you the trouble. http://public.fotki.com/MoparLady/magazine...min-of-marylan/
  12. That is stunning. Nice job!
  13. Here are the parts from the '67 and I would agree with front drag tires.
  14. Man, Olle everything looks great! Hope to see it finished soon, but I see it is taking a while. I'm like that, sometimes I only get to work on my project once a week.
  15. It is the same stuff, it has the same UPC code and everything.
  16. Looks great! It really takes patience and a steady hand to detail an old model like that. Nice job.
  17. I'm speechless! Well, not really. I love Willys, I love pickups, and I LOVE this model!
  18. Raul nailed it, I'll just add that you may have to cut the springs from the axle and add in your spacers. Or get rid of the rear springs altogether & 4 link & bag it. A lot more work.
  19. Great idea and a great start! I can't wait to see more.
  20. Yeah, the wheelbase on the 67 falcon is supposed to be 110.9" vs 108" on the '67 Mustang. I would say the Mustang is your best bet though.
  21. I love it! Can't wait to see more...
  22. I hated and still hate the MPC '69 Mustang. I built that kit in 1985 and I have no fond memories of it whatsoever.
  23. Looks awesome, Don!
  24. Welcome, Josh!
  25. You lucky stiffs were above zero?!?! We spent the entire day yesterday below. Too darn cold to live. Albert, nice find! A 427 would look great in there!
