Saleen S281 "barricade"

Alright, so I'm a big fan of the new Transformers movie released last summer. Now I want to build me a Barricade replica, and if you haven't seen the movie, he's a very sinister looking Saleen S281.

So what would be my best way to get there? I was thinking of Revell's 2006 Mustang, and maybe I could grab some light bars from an Impala kit. Not sure at all about what to do with the front and rear clips, since they are Saleen specific. Or where to get rims close to his. What else would I need to change? The S281 is the same sheetmetal I believe as the regular Mustang, is it not?

So what kind of ideas would you suggest to get the revell kit closer?

Revell is coming out with an 08 Shelby GT500 kit. thats a little closer then a stock GT kit, but still light years away. alot of scratchbuilding would be needed.
