1 bad55 stan Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Looks cool cant wait to see more! Thanks Dave,This one may take awhile but i will post as i progress... That's just pretty right there! Small cowl hood twin turbo car perhaps? Thank you too Fred,I like your thinking.I will look into the turbo idea.
tubbs Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 turbos would be the way to go for a modern pro streeter. I prefer the obnoxious whine and poor visibility of a roots type blower, but that's just me. going to be a killer car whichever way you go. will be watching for sure. cant miss with a pro street car.
tooltas Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 go all auss style a big 14/7 blower siting obnoxiousy high out of hood and big bad shot gun scope on some carbs
Dragfreak Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I vote for a turbo car as well. I'm sure no matter what route you take, it'll be cool.

Still not sure on the turbo set up as i don,t have a clue on how to plumb them up.I love blowers though! go all auss style a big 14/7 blower siting obnoxiousy high out of hood and big bad shot gun scope on some carbs Good idea, but i want it to look more like a street "ish" car...
1 bad55 stan Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 I vote for a turbo car as well. I'm sure no matter what route you take, it'll be cool. Thanks Jason.... A great start. Looking forward to more. Thank you Dave a small update on the cage...
1 bad55 stan Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Done some roll cage work, Feed back welcome, good or bad.....
Hopsing Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I vote for the twin turbo set up as well.... there's plenty of online images of setups that you should be able to put one together that would look great! I know there are some US based companies that offer resin turbos and intercooler sets. Here's a pic of a friend of mines 1:1 '61 Impala Pro Touring car that has a 2000+ horsepower twin turbo Moran Racing engine in it..... This will be similar to how I'm going to do my version of a 1;25 ProTouring '69 Nova.
Silver Foxx Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Real nice work , look forward to seeing more of this .

1 bad55 stan Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Hi guys,I have added a few more bars to the roll cage, got the seats an the dash mocked up.i have made the trunk floor and stiffened up the strut braces. and body on. Thanks for looking, comments welcome. Sorry about the blurry photos.. Edited December 18, 2014 by 1 bad55 stan
DeeCee Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Having grown up around these, in stock form and wild form, I will be watching this build very closely. With all that bar work and tubbed rear end, I would look brilliant with a 14/71 hanging out of that hood. Great start on it too.
Speedfreak Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Looks real good Stan! Great subject/project. Nice work on that cage!
