19nova72 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I need help in locating a resin reproduction of a 3408 Cat engine. Does anybody out there know of any resin casters that have done this engine. I'm trying to build a model of my Dads Transtar II from the 70's and need a Cat powerplant. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

airhorn Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I don't know of any casters but the 1/25 Revell Germany kit (RVL-7549) Australian KW that I built had a Cat 3408 in it. Problem is that you would have to buy the kit to get the engine but the kits are available.

At the moment I'm not building. I crushed the end of my middle finger ( left hand ). Docs got me on some serious painkillers and they make me feel wacky.
