  1. Hey All. I have a couple of questions. I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm building a resin version of Jungle Jims "69 Nova funny car. What brand and code of blue paint did you use for the body and the frame? Thanks in advance.?
  2. Great job on the day cab. That would be one rough ride when bob-tailing!
  3. Man that brings back memories of a movie that scared the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out of me. This movie and Maximum Overdrive almost made me give up wanting to drive semi. But this is still a great build that should stand the test of time! Great job.
  4. Thanks again for all info. I will try the Tamiya colors as they are readily available to me over here in Germany.?
  5. I drove one back in the late 70's in the Army over in Germany. Man that thing would run! This build is gonna be way cool.
  6. Great job on the whole rig. I never drove doubles but was always curious. Saw a lot of them in the 70's and I know why they are called wiggle wagons?
  7. Real nice conversion. I really like the way these snap kits have come along. In the beginning they were not the best. I like it a lot. Keep up the good work.?
  8. Very unique idea, but I like anyway. Nice build?
  9. Good lookin' little digger! I like the injected small block.
  10. Real sharp lookin' slip cab. Gotta love them old Macks.
  11. Great builds. I like them all. The cabovers KW makes me want to get started on my reissued kit. You guys keep building, and I will keep lookin'.
  12. Hey Guys, Thanks for all the info. Do you know if Revell or Tamiya make a color that either matches or at least close?
  13. Hello all. I need some help. I have the Willie Borsch funny car. I need to know what model paints match the original. I have a bunch of rattle cans but nothing matches. I also have an airbrush. I can mix my own if necessary. Thanks in advance, Rod.
  14. He's right. I didn't see the drivers door was cracked open in the first pic. Revell had opening hood, doors and trunk. Amt was only hood the Revell cars (55,56,57)were a bear to assemble nothing would line up or there were serious sink marks on doors, hood and trunk lid. Don't know if I can help with all the missing stuff. You may want to think about turning it into some kind of race car that way you can use other parts. Let me know how it goes. Later, Rod
  15. Yup, that's an AMT '57 Chevy. I can look in my junkyard and see if I have the stuff you are missing. Posta list and I will see what I can do. Keep on Truckin', Rod.
  16. Post a pic and I can tell you the year. I am a die-hard Chevy guy.
  17. Good looki'n K-Wopper. I really like that shade of red.?
  18. That is one cool build. Never thought of using a Ford for this, you normally see Freightliners. Good idea
  19. Cool. Don't let them get away. This is our history!
  20. As much of a pain in the butt it was to build, I couldn't part with this old girl.
  21. Ok guys, now I'm going way back. This build is from the very early 80's if I remember correctly. As you can see by the decal flaking it is an old one. I believe it was one of my first builds after getting out of the Army in '81. Hope you all enjoy the trip back in time.
