Anyone Kitbashed a '61 Corvette?

First off, DON'T suggest I start with a "new" Revell '62. I'm trying use up an old AMT '62 and an old MPC '60 and want to kitbash them into a nice shelf-sitter '61.

I gather that the idea will be to get the rear end of the AMT '62 body onto the MPC '60 body. Anyone done this--any ideas or suggestions about the best place to make the cut(s)? How does everything mate up?
