I'm building a Revell '57 Chevy, and I want to use the stock hub caps included with the utility sedan version. I don't want to use the steel wheels provided in the kit, because to my eye they are not deep enough, and make the cap sit almost beyond the rim. My problem is that I can't find wheels that provide the depth I'm looking for, and that have a center section as small as the Revell hub caps. The wheels in the Revell '57 Ford are close, but even they have a center section that is bigger than the Chevy hub caps, and are also sort of shallow. I've looked at Mopar wheels from a few online vendors, and all I've seen so far seem to have the right size center section, but they look like, well, Mopar wheels, and not Chevrolet. I know this is kind of a specific question, but has anyone out there found a solution for this problem? I'd welcome any ideas...thanks.
