SteveG Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 I'll be looking to buy the Color Me Gone and Ramchargers kits.Steve I went on the Lindberg web site and are they doing some of Testors models?? because the '38 Ford coupe and convertible and the sedan delivery look familiar from Testors. Yes, those were Testors models. From what I understand Testors is getting away from selling plastic kits and Lindberg made a deal with them on some of the tooling. You'll probably see more former Testors kits in the Lindberg line. -Steve
Phil Patterson Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Didn't Testors have the Johan Maverick/Comet Prostock molds? I know they released a version since Johan did. That is one I'd like to see back! Not sure, maybe Okey Spalding has them now. Also, the Comet was reissue but don't think the Maverick has been out for some time. I would like to see some of the last few reissues like the Comet, S&M Cuda, etc, etc hit the market again. While reissued and quite common in the 80s and early 90s, the supply has dried up and I bet would sell well in Lindberg boxes.

That is one I'd like to see back! Yes, plus the 70 Olds and AMX tools. I think they would be good sellers too. Unfortunately from what I'm told the tooling for all of them is in poor shape. Maybe in the future Lindberg will make a deal with Testors on the tooling that will make it worth restoring the tooling for re-issue. That's really our only hope on seeing those kits again. Steve

OK, this one: http://www.lindberg-models.com/land_model72196.html is slightly smaller than 1/25 scale, which is unfortunate because it is such a cute thing. This one: http://www.lindberg-models.com/land_model73047.html is their 1/8th scale offering.

This one: http://www.lindberg-models.com/land_model73047.html is their 1/8th scale offering. Based on the description, I would say it's the smaller scale '25 Tall T that being released this Qtr. We are currently getting the 1/8th Hot Canary"T" and 1/12th scale Fiat if you like the larger scale kits. Hot Canary "T" 1/12th scale Fiat -Steve
jbwelda Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 its too bad that fiat isnt 1/8 scale! that would make for a great body for kit bashing!
