Those big rocks in the pics are known as, Mormon Rocks. Cajon Pass follows an old trail called the Mormon trail.

I don't get to go out on what you would call long hauls, nothing over 250 miles outside of our shop, but here lately I've been running through VA a little and I ran across this cool looking old store outside of Stuart, VA headed to Woolwine. Well my photos are too large apparently so all you get is the store for now, until I figure out this stupid phone!

On the same lines, this is what a GPS will do to you. 45 minutes out of the way only to wind up in a cow pasture waiting on a crazy old farmer to show up outa no where with a shotgun.

Oh boy, that's perfect. I get directions from dispatch sometimes that say head north on such and such road for 26 miles, then turn left at the big white rock, then it's another 8 miles to the pit, can't miss it.

I hear ya Clay to, I've had those directions too! The barn in the very first pic is where the "road" ended and I had to back up around a tree, and up beside an old burnt up single wide trailer!
