driftrboygaming Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 hey guys, looking for some import models to build and stuff, was thinking of looking for a wide-body scion FRS 1:25 to build for a model car. let me know if you know where to get a scion FRS, BRZ, and or a GT86 (which ever one works). thank you in advance

Lucas van H Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Try the Aoshima Rocketbunny one. You can also look into Fujimi kits for the JDM cars. Fujimi: http://www.hobbylinc.com/fujimi-plastic-model-cars-trucks-vehicles-1:20-1:29-scale Aoshima: http://www.hobbylinc.com/cgi-bin/s8.cgi?mfg_2=aos&cat_s=SCB Most kits from these manufacturers don't have engines or a partial one. There are some that have the complete engine block but I haven't found them yet. Lucas.
driftrboygaming Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 thank you lucas! I actually had a moment with rocketbunny because I saw it on a BMW M3 in las vegas
Lucas van H Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 No problem. I've been looking at the RB one too. They took the body from the stock kit and added some fenders and spoilers in the box. This means that to get the wheels to fit, you have to take a small portion out of the body so that the ride height is correct. Lucas.
driftrboygaming Posted January 15, 2015 Author Posted January 15, 2015 hmmmmm... cool! I want to to see if they have any liberty walk bodykits!
Lucas van H Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Oh, If you're interested in Liberty Walk kits, you may have to look into transkits. I know Eightyone81 makes the Ferrari and GT-R ones. Aoshima also makes (or has made, don't know if the production run on those has ended) the old Skylines from Kato San's garage. Link to the transkits, yep, they're really that expensive and keep in mind you still have to buy the stock modelkit: http://www.eightyone81.com/category/products/transkit/ Different old school LB cars: http://www.ebay.com/itm/11485-AOSHIMA-Nissan-Laurel-130-Works-Liberty-Walk-LB-Works-1-24-Model-Kit-/351283737613?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item51ca24740d http://www.ebay.com/itm/11492-AOSHIMA-Nissan-Laurel-Hakosukae-Works-Liberty-Walk-LB-Works-1-24-Model-Kit-/351283737625?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item51ca247419 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-Liberty-Walk-series-No-01LB-WORKS-JAPAN-4Dr-plamo-Japan-Toy-Model-/291354167876?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item43d60fca44 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-Liberty-Walk-series-No-02LB-Works-Kenmeri-2Dr-plamo-Japan-Toy-Model-/291350500931?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item43d5d7d643 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-Liberty-Walk-Series-No-03LB-Works-Kenmeri-4Dr-plamo-Japan-Toy-Model-/301481151379?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Model_Kits&hash=item4631ad4b93 Hope this helps.
