And a 97 Raptor oh wait thats my 2500$ beater i own... The little S10 is my buddy who owns the green Chevy 2500 i replicated. Edited January 22, 2015 by Platerpants
Toast Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Ha ha, they already have the 2017 out?! No wonder they can't get the 2011 onto the shelves! Looks like it'll be a fun project, I dig the blue.
randx0 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 It was a giveaway at the auto show like the mustangs were. this one is due in June the 2011 is due in February .
kelson Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I have yet to see any Raptor's show up on ebay, guess they're being bought as fast as they show up.
Platerpants Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 found some interior pictures online. Looks pretty snazzy for a sport/fun truck. Lots of stitch work more than i would do in scale but the accents i can do, the interior on the model definitely needs work.
Platerpants Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 under close examination i decided it needs to sit higher so i will be modifying the height too... Also it lacks the dual exhausts under the rear bumper...
1930fordpickup Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) If you do not take a kid to the Autoshow you can not get one there. Edited January 24, 2015 by 1930fordpickup

Platerpants Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) thanks. I tryed to work with those lights the best i could, hardest part of the build. next step is axles so that it might sit right Edited January 25, 2015 by Platerpants
Toast Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Yup! your lights make it 100 times better. You're building up a very nice version of this pickup.
Platerpants Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 Thanks. Got a little axle work done for the rear. And set it with my Concept GT500 (This photo was taken before i started the axle mod) Started by lifting the rear a tad more using parts numbering tabs from a spue setting the pumpkin and then cutting metal tubing.
Platerpants Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 looks like my photobucket is down or something but if all works out i will upload the photos in underglass tonite. finishing up the tailpipes and chassis now.
