Hey all,

Didn't someone make a large scale Outlaw or one of Ed Roth's show cars?

I thought I saw somewhere a kit of one of his rods in 1/16th or 1/12th scale...

I don't know of a kit, but a moderator at Hotrodders.com was working on a scratchbuilt 1/8 Mysterion, along with a full-size replica.

I do not know the status of the model now.

There was a clone of the original Outlaw built a few years ago and the same builder is now working on a clone of the Mysterion, both in 1:1 scale. I have never seen any Ed Roth car in any large scale, either resin or plastic.

Cool stuff, for sure.

I actually found a guy who was scratchbuilding a 1/8th Boot Hill Express. I'm pretty sure that's the one I was thinking of..

I would love to see some of these old show rods in a big scale. Way cool!!
