Hello all, been wanting to get into semi truck modeling and picked the AMT California Hauler re-issued kit and want to do a pretty good detailed build with most all wires and hoses and wondering if there is good site that has pics of this particular Pete showing engine pics and frame pics?, I have searched google and anything that comes up is the later model peterbilts, does anyone know what year peterbilt they model it of? That may help me with the google searches.

It's a 69'. For engine pics you need to search 8V71 Detroit. The engine colors were silver, alpine green and in some cases white.

For a 69 Peterbilt the engine should be White as most of the engines in Peterbilts were white up until 1985...or in some cases Alpine Green, Silver was for the 8V92
