LVZ2881 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 looks good. and its not a black SS either !! nice to see one in a different color scheme... makes me want to get the one out that stalled last year on my bench. started building it as a moms day gift , as a replica of the black '86 SS her and dad bought new. hope to finish it later this year when I get this nascar thing out of my system a little.....
kelson Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Beautiful looking SS! bought this kit about 20 years ago, even got a set of fred cady decals as he offered them in red and blue i believe, put it in a box and simply forgot about it,after seeing yours will maybe make it my next project, sometime in the future.
Darrell Gwinn Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I need to get this kit so i can replicate my real 87 monte
lizardlust Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Strikingly finished G-Body!! I just wish my 1:1 SS looked as robust right now....
Raul_Perez Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Michael, That's one of my favorite Monte Carlo body styles. The color selections and the stance really look good!
Guest roadkill2525 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 (edited) This was the base for color choice. I forgot to wire the engine even though I had the perfect referance, my Camaro with the same engine (305 TPI). Maybe down the road I'll do another '87 Aeroback.
